Ravioli Cheese Dish (Printable Recipe)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Pasta and Meat

01 - 1 package (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
02 - 1 pound ground beef

→ Sauce and Cheeses

03 - 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
04 - 1 cup cottage cheese
05 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
06 - ½ cup sour cream
07 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Seasonings and Aromatics

09 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
10 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 1 teaspoon dried basil
12 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
13 - Salt and pepper to taste
14 - Fresh parsley for garnish

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. As it heats up, take a big skillet, pour in the olive oil, and briefly sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, which won't take more than 30 seconds.
02 - Toss the ground beef into the skillet with your fragrant garlic and brown it completely, making sure to break it apart as it cooks. Get rid of excess grease. Stir in the marinara sauce, add the basil and oregano, then season with salt and pepper. Let everything bubble together for 5 minutes to blend the tastes.
03 - Grab a mixing bowl and mix together the cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and sour cream. Toss in 1 cup of the mozzarella and stir until everything's combined nicely.
04 - Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. First put down some meat sauce, then arrange half your frozen ravioli on top. Next spread all your cheese mix over that, add the other half of the ravioli, pour the remaining meat sauce over, and finish with the leftover cup of mozzarella and all the Parmesan.
05 - Put foil over the dish (make sure it doesn't touch any cheese) and stick it in the oven for 30 minutes. Then take the foil off and bake for another 10-15 minutes until you see the cheese getting bubbly with some golden spots. Top with fresh parsley before you serve it.

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can make this dish ahead and keep it in the fridge until you're ready to cook it. Just add an extra 10 minutes when it's covered with foil.
02 - Want a meat-free option? Drop the beef and use 2 cups of cooked spinach or mushrooms instead.
