Crunchy Tex-Mex beef parcels (Printable Recipe)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Core Components

01 - 6 big Flour wraps
02 - 1 pound Minced beef
03 - 1 cup Water for mixing with cooked seasoned meat
04 - 2 cups Grated cheese
05 - 1 can Mashed pinto beans
06 - 2 cups Cooking oil for deep frying

→ Beef flavor mix

07 - 1 tablespoon Chili spice
08 - ½ tablespoon Flavored salt
09 - ½ tablespoon Cumin powder
10 - 1 teaspoon Dark pepper
11 - 1 teaspoon Garlic salt or garlic dust
12 - ½ teaspoon dried Oregano leaves
13 - ½-1 cup Water

→ Optional Garnishes

14 - Tangy cream
15 - Sliced lettuce
16 - Chunky tomato sauce
17 - Diced tomatoes

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Cook minced beef in a pan on medium flame until brown. You'll know it's done when you can't see any pink bits. Dump extra fat using a colander.
02 - Return meat to the pan on medium flame. Mix in all spices and water, stirring well. Let it bubble until liquid vanishes.
03 - Get cooking oil hot in another pan on medium heat. Start putting together your wraps while waiting.
04 - Spread a spoonful of beans near one edge of each wrap. Add a spoon or two of meat mixture, then scatter plenty of cheese on top.
05 - Start rolling the wrap over the fillings. Halfway through, tuck both sides inward, then finish rolling tightly so nothing leaks out.
06 - Keep making wraps until you've used all your ingredients or completed the amount you want.
07 - Drop each wrap into hot oil with the FOLDED EDGE DOWN first. Cook each side for 1-2 minutes until golden. Don't forget to brown the edges too.
08 - Take them out and let them dry on a tray or paper towels. Add your favorite toppings and sauces. Dig in!

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can make these tasty parcels ahead and stick them in the freezer for later.
02 - Wrap them super tight so the stuffing stays inside while cooking.
03 - Always drop them folded-side down first when frying to keep them sealed.
